‘Welcome to Framlingham’ is an independently published, free town guide to one of East Suffolk’s favourite historic market towns.
Framlingham – home to the famous castle on the hill, built by Baron Bigod and immortalised by that global local, Ed Sheeran – is a happening sort of place with a great Saturday market, charming collection of shops and a vibrant business community.
Close to the coast, yet firmly in the countryside, it’s a great start point for walks to the iconic white post mill at Saxtead Green and always seems en route these days for cyclists looking for the perfect scenic stop for a calorific top-up of coffee and cake!
The Welcome to Framlingham, 48 page full colour guide was created to be enjoyed – a really useful, ‘save-and-share’ publication with plenty of info and a handy directory to point visitors, residents and friends alike in the right direction.
Distributed to homes throughout Framlingham, the guide has a 3+ year shelf life and is back by popular demand, following its original creation and first publication in 2014, when it was shared by Framlingham Town Council as its official guide to the town.
